The 16th Judicial Circuit provides resources for attorneys practicing before the Court and for individuals who choose to represent themselves.

Self-represented litigants can find Court-approved self-representation forms in the Forms & Fees section. Attorneys must file electronically through the Missouri eFiling system. For case information, use Case.net.

If you are filing for an Order of Protection, you do not need an attorney. Forms and instructions are available, and petitions may be submitted at either the Kansas City or Independence courthouse Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
