The Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Kansas City is the principal courthouse of the 16th Judicial Circuit. It houses the Circuit Court divisions, Civil and Criminal Records, the Probate Division, Court Administration, and the Court's administrative offices.
All visitors pass through a security checkpoint operated by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. Please review the Courthouse Security guidelines before your visit and allow extra time to enter the building.
